Travel back to a primitive land dominated by myth and legend, where Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR and Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR shape the very fabric of time and space! Explore a vast wilderness unlike anything you’ve ever experienced, where you’ll encounter Decidueye, Typhlosion, and Samurott as Hisuian Pokémon VSTAR. Meet talented Trainers and other powerful Pokémon that call the ancient Hisui region home, and discover a new kind of Shiny Pokémon: Radiant Pokémon. Charge courageously into battle in a new world with the Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield—Astral Radiance expansion!

The Astral Radiance Pokémon Set soars into the Sword & Shield Series as its tenth main expansion, arriving in Japan on April 8, 2022 (as Time Gazer and Space Juggler) and in English on May 27, 2022. Drawing directly from the world of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, this set introduces Hisuian forms of Decidueye, Typhlosion, and Samurott alongside the Origin Formes of Dialga and Palkia. Beyond the core blocks, Astral Radiance also incorporates the Battle Region subset, two VSTAR Starter Sets (Arceus & Dialga, Arceus & Palkia), and select S‑P Promotional cards, delivering over 190 cards that span new releases and hard‑to‑find leftovers from previous expansions.

At its heart, the Astral Radiance Pokémon Set expands on the Pokémon VSTAR mechanic introduced in Brilliant Stars. Both Dialga VSTAR and Palkia VSTAR evolve from their V forms, boasting powerful one‑use VSTAR Powers—Star Portal and Aqua Radiance—that can turn the tide of any duel. The set also debuts Radiant Pokémon, borderless Basic cards showcasing Shiny forms of fan‑favorites like Radiant Palkia V and Radiant Hisuian Samurott. Each Radiant card carries a unique rule box limiting you to one per deck, making every pull a rare trophy and every inclusion a strategic choice.

Collectors will find plenty of gems in the Astral Radiance Pokémon Set lore. Early Elite Trainer Boxes sparked rushes for the limited Radiant Palkia VSTAR, whose mirror‑foil swirls mirror the distortion of space itself. A handful of rare miscuts—where Radiant artwork bled into the border—instantly became error‑card legends. The set symbol, a stylized timepiece entwined with cosmic rings, nods to Dialga and Palkia’s domain over time and space. Plus, the Trainer Gallery subset returns with breathtaking Full Art reprints—look for Professor Orion alongside his signature Arceus—each accented by a subtle holo vignette that turns every card into a miniature work of art.
