A Festival of Mischief & Mystery!

Welcome to the land of Kitakami, where people and Pokémon live harmoniously with nature. Folktales abound, but not all is as it seems… Uncover the mystery of the masked Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon, appearing as four fearsome types of Tera Pokémon ex, and team up with more newly discovered Pokémon, like Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex and Sinistcha ex. Growing in power, Greninja, Dragapult, and Magcargo dazzle as Tera Pokémon ex, and more ACE SPEC cards round out the festivities in the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Twilight Masquerade expansion!

The Twilight Masquerade Pokémon Set arrives as the sixth main expansion in the Scarlet & Violet Series, debuting in Japan on April 26, 2024 (as Transformation Mask) and hitting English markets on May 24, 2024. Building on the mysterious land of Kitakami from The Teal Mask DLC, this set weaves together cards from both the Japanese Transformation Mask and Crimson Haze expansions. As with other high‑class subsets, boosters aren’t sold individually but tucked into Elite Trainer Boxes, pin tins, and special bundles—each containing ten cards plus a TCG Live code and either a basic Energy or Tera marker.

At its core, the Twilight Masquerade Pokémon Set spotlights the enigmatic Ogerpon, appearing in all its special Tera forms—each mask granting a unique Ancient‑Trait‑style ability. Alongside Ogerpon, you’ll find seven Pokémon ex, seven Tera Pokémon ex, and a lineup of supporting illustration rares (21), full‑art etched Ultra Rares (12), special illustration rares (11), and Hyper Rare gold‑etched treasures (6). This expansion also continues the return of ACE SPEC cards—now including a brand‑new ACE SPEC Special Energy—for powerful, one‑per‑deck effects that can swing the tide of any duel.

Beyond gameplay, Twilight Masquerade brims with collector lore. Early Elite Trainer Boxes in Traditional Chinese markets also offered a Transformation Mask Collector’s Set, complete with 10 boosters, a card list booklet, and a promo Full Art Chansey stamped with the set’s mask motif. Fans have spotted micro‑etched mask icons on Ogerpon’s art, echoing its customizable headgear from the games. Rumors of rare miscut gold foils—where mask patterns bleed into the border—have already sparked an error‑card frenzy, while the global rollout (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, plus key Asian languages) ensures that every trainer can join the masquerade.
